Since 2018, Agility Global has supported Oiada International and its employment training programs in Ghana, as well as Oiada’s student outreach programs in Turkey and Brazil.
In Ghana, Agility Global and Oiada have partnered to provide free training to young people joining the workforce or starting businesses. Past training has included electrician apprentice certification, computers & technology, brickmaking & construction skills, and soft skills for employment and career development. The training provides young people with skills they need to join the workforce or create businesses in a rapidly developing local economy. Training courses take place at the Agility Logistics Park in Tema, Ghana.
In addition, Oiada and Agility Global have partnered to help young people in Brazil and Turkey, connecting them with Agility leaders and team members around the world to better understand sustainability and supply chain issues from different cultural perspectives.
From 2018 through 2023, we reached 700+ people.
Since 2009, Agility Global has supported the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and its humanitarian and refugee assistance programs in the aftermath of humanitarian crises around the world. Our support for UNHCR comes from both employee fundraising drives and direct donations to UNHCR.
Employee Fundraising: Our employees have donated funds, matched by Agility Global, to provide refugees with clothing, food, shelter and other material necessities.
Direct Donations: Agility Global has supported refugees via UNHCR job skills training and employment resources development, as well as with administrative assistance to help refugees legally settle in their host countries. Agility Global has also provided assistance to UNHCR to help it provide refugee children with access to education.
Through two streams of support, we have assisted UNHCR programs for refugees from Africa, the Middle East and Asia in countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Turkey, and Uganda.

Agility Global has been a long-time supporter of humanitarian logistics and food assistance programs for the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and the UN Global Logistics Cluster during humanitarian crises around the world.
Since 2006, Agility Global has supported WFP in several ways:
· During humanitarian emergencies, including sudden onset, protracted and complex emergencies, Agility Global has provided the WFP and the Logistics Cluster with in-kind supply chain services, including warehousing/storage and transportation of humanitarian cargo, as well as in deploying trained supply chain experts that help the Cluster and WFP to plan and execute emergency supply chain operations on the ground.
· Agility Global also provides assistance for planning and preparedness projects, with local operations teams providing supply chain market and capacities information for geographies that are at risk for humanitarian crises, or that may be used as staging areas for humanitarian responses to crisis impacted areas.
· In addition to supply chain support and assistance, Agility Global has also frequently raised money for WFP through employee donation campaigns for food assistance to disaster impacted people.
Since 2006, Agility Global has helped WFP and the Logistics Cluster provide some sort of humanitarian assistance around the world to well over a million people.
