Tarek Sultan

Tarek Sultan

Chairman, Agility Global

Tarek Sultan, Vice Chairman and CEO of Agility, is Chairman of the Board of Agility Global. Tarek assumed leadership of Agility in 1997 and built it into a global enterprise with 54,000+ employees on six continents. He has been a member of the board of DSV, the world’s third-largest freight forwarding company, since DSV’s acquisition of Agility’s global logistics business in 2021. Tarek sits on the board of NREC and is a member of the World Trade Organization’s Business Advisory Group. Tarek is active in the World Economic Forum (WEF). He is a member of the WEF International Business Council; the WEF’s Stewardship Board of the Platform on Shaping the Future of Mobility; and a Governor of the World Economic Forum’s Supply Chain & Transport Industry Community. Before Agility, Tarek was managing director of New York Associates, a regional investment banking services provider and worked at Southport Partners, a U.S.-based corporate finance advisory firm specializing in the technology sector. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Economics from Williams College.

Henadi Al-Saleh is CEO of Agility Global, a muti-business owner and operator and long-term investor in sector-leading businesses, with 50,000+ employees across 70 countries. She joined Agility, the controlling shareholder of Agility Global, in 2007 as head of Investor Relations and Financial Planning and Analysis. Henadi was appointed to Agility’s Board in 2010 and became Agility’s Chairperson in 2014. In that capacity, she has led corporate governance; digital transformation, including overseeing the launch of its Shipa digital logistics arm; and spearheaded its corporate ventures division. Forbes magazine has named Henadi one the most powerful businesswoman in the Middle East. Henadi serves on the Global Board of Advisors of the Council of Foreign Relations in the U.S.A; the board of Gulf Warehousing Company in Qatar; and as a trustee of the Bayan Bilingual School in Kuwait. Before joining Agility, Henadi headed the financing group at NBK Capital in Kuwait. She earned a Bachelor of Economics from Tufts University.

Faisal Al-Essa

Faisal Al-Essa is Vice Chairman and CEO of Kuwait-based National Real Estate Company (NREC), a publicly traded real-estate company in the Middle East with around $2 billion in assets under management and projects and offices in more than 10 countries. Before his appointment as Vice Chairman and CEO, Faisal led business development, and served as a board member at NREC, as well as Chairman and Managing Director of various NREC subsidiaries. Faisal chairs Kuwait Agro Holding, one of the leading fruits and vegetable, poultry and dairy companies in the Middle East, and is a board member of Agility. He graduated from Barry University in the U.S. with a degree in Management.

Essa Al-Saleh is CEO of Volta Commercial Vehicles, a leading electric commercial vehicle company. He has over 25 years’ experience in leading, developing and scaling businesses and early-stage startups in the logistics and automotive sectors. He joined Volta Trucks from Agility Global Integrated Logistics, where he spent 22 years and was President and CEO. During that time, Agility GIL grew from a one-country operation with 300 employees and $150 million in revenue to a global freight and logistics business operating in over 100 countries with 18,000 employees and $4 billion in revenue. Prior to joining Agility, Essa was an engineer with the Kuwait Oil Company. He was part of the team reconstructing oil fields damaged during the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Essa has an MBA from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, both with honors.

Christopher is President of Wynn Development for Wynn Resorts. He is a lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center for Real Estate. Prior to Wynn, Chris served as an advisor and manager on complex development projects worldwide as President of the Dirigo Group. Prior to that, he was COO for the Allston Development Group, the real estate development arm of Harvard University, and director of Capital Programs and Logan Modernization for the Massachusetts Port Authority. Chris serves on the board of NREC and is the Chairman of the Board of Fryeburg Academy, one of the oldest private high schools in America. He also served as a board member of the National Research Council’s Board on Infrastructure and the Built Environment, and as a trustee of the Engineering Center Education Trust. Chris holds a Bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Maine and a Master’s in civil engineering from the MIT. He is a registered Professional Engineer.
